Role : Senior Motion Graphics Designer
Sector: Medical animation and Pharma
Type: Full time in-house
Over the past five years, I have been working as a 2D designer in the medical animation studio 'Random42'.
R42 is the global leader in high-end medical animation and scientific storytelling. I have worked on projects for some of the largest pharmaceutical and life-science brands.
Since joining the 2D team in 2019 as a Junior Graphic Designer, I been promoted to a Senior designer. While still creating highly detailed and visually engaging artwork, I also manage junior members of the team to advance their design knowledge and technical prowess.
For the work I create, scientific accuracy is paramount. I work with scientists who help me execute visuals that look aesthetically intriguing while being accurate to the research.
Due to the highly confidential information I am exposed to when creating these various designs, I am unable to share the share client projects I have worked on. The assets showcased are non-client based but feature a similar visual style and direction.
Faux 3D antibodies created in AfterEffects. This uses lighting and texturing to create the 3d form while still being 2D.
This infographic was created using Blender and AfterEffects. This was an infographic experiment to test 'Blender-to-AfterEffects' tracking.
This is a toon render created in blender and then composited in AfterEffects. The intention was to create a stylized 3D shaded visual that could be manipulated in 2D space.
